Balloch Loch Lomond

This is the biggest population centre around the loch-side is Balloch Loch Lomond, and as such has the biggest choice of accommodation available. There are of course shops restaurants and bars as well.

Balloch is also home the main National Park visitor centre of Lomond Shores. which has excellent shopping, boats, restaurants etc.

There are walks and parks to visit as well as the Antartex Village. It always surprises visitors that the beginning of the Lomond and Trossachs National Park is so close to a major city such as Glasgow and only 25 minutes from the Airport. This makes the park the most accessible of all the UK's National Parks.
