There have been many changes to the life of this village over recent years. The most important being the bypass which has allowed the village to prosper and for people to stroll around the centre without much traffic. Luss Loch Lomond has also become the focal point for many weddings at the local church. Who could blame them as this is a delightful setting for any wedding with splendid views across the loch.

The Luss hills and other walks are available to those who want to enjoy the great outdoors and get an elevated view of the loch. There is plenty to do including fishing, cycling, boating, hill walking, golf, to name a few.

There are many businesses in this general area who offer services for the tourist or day tripper including the splendid facilities at nearby Cameron House Hotel, and the Duck Bay Marina.

Getting to the village of Luss is not difficult, however there are no trains. There is a main road the A82 which passes beside the village and busses from Glasgow stop in the village which is situated about a third of the way up the shores of the loch on its west side. The nearest other population centres are Balloch to the south and Tarbet to the North.
